i am going to embark on an adventure of dating outside of the jw's, i am currently fading so worried people will see me, but so be it.
i have some apprehension just because of all the negetive conitations that exist with worldly people, afraid i will never meet someone outside the organization that could meet my needs.
but i am taking a leap of faith and seeing what will happen.

My first husband fulfilled all of the JW prophecies about how 'worldly' men would behave. He was unfaithful, wanting to practice anal intercourse (darn!!! That's no pleasure, rather some serious pain!!!), and into pornography big time. Dropped him like a hot potato after a year or so of marriage.
I know for some people his was normal behavior, but not for me. Still isn't. Call me conservative.
Other relationships I had before him were not much better. Best of luck to you!

is this just wishful thinking...or do you really think that this is a reality?
Of course, as they diminish in numbers, the WTBTS will just print study articles claiming that it's the 'prophecy' coming to be that in the last days the 'love of the greater number will be scarce'.

ive been logging on to the website for awhile but have only been reading.today ive decided to extend my hello to all of you and to thank you for helping me out in confirming a decison i shouldve made years ago.
i left the j-dubs last august (by fading) and i feel so much happier in my life.
i can say bless you when someone sneezes, i can go to a birthday party, put a x-mas tree up, and have sex guilt free .

anybody out there left the organization just because of the hate of crowds and large gatherings?.
i find it very stressful in meetings and assembly situations just because of the amount of people.
so, that alone makes me want to leave as soon as possible.. any similar thoughts or experiences?.

Just wishful thinking on our part, I do believe.
As long as there are people buying into their paradise dream, they'll continue to go on and prosper. They're not some silly small movement. They're big and they'll get bigger, just like any other mainstream religion.

she attends all the meetings and goes out in service every other saturday.

lately i've found myself missing midland, tx where i grew up.
Lived in the New England area for a very long time and miss it terribly. Many times I think of moving back. Miss it, miss it, miss it.

i know this young couple; the wife is a jw and the husband is not (and has no desire to become one).
the wife was baptised after they got married.
she has been a jw for almost a year.
No, they won't force her into that, but she'll become miserable in the marriage if he doesn't convert. You watch!
